Dr. Thomas B. Messick is an evangelical Christian scholar of Islam whose academic training, ministry experience, and teaching background uniquely position him to launch and lead the Evangelical Institute for Christian-Muslim Studies. Dr. Messick earned his Ph.D. in Islamic and Intercultural Studies (2025) from the Australian University of Theology. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Messick has spent more than a decade training Christians for ministry among Muslims through classroom teaching, seminars, internships, and coaching. Graduates of his training program are bearing witness to Christ among Muslims around the world in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Dr. Messick and his wife, Tiffany, have been married 21 years and have four beautiful children who are seeking to follow Jesus with their lives.
